Normally we would say an electric smart/intelligence motor lock is an upgrade of an electric lock, because in the access control system, if electric rim locks want to be opened by cards and tags, they must be connected with a standalone access control keypad, so to use cards and tags on the keypad, at the same time the signal of keypad is sent to the electric rim lock to unlock. However, electric intelligence motor locks are much more convenient than electric rim locks, as the cards and tags can be read directly by the locks, there is no need to integrate another access control keypad.
Types of the electric smart motor lock with RFID
The normally used electric smart/intelligence motor lock with RFID has two types, single cylinder, and double cylinder. Basically, other functions between a single cylinder and a double cylinder are the same. The difference between a single cylinder and a double cylinder is very easy to tell by their appearance. Single-cylinder electric motor lock is opened by turning the knob from the inside, while double-cylinder electric motor lock is opened by physical keys from the inside. Features of electric smart motor lock with RFID
1. Electric intelligence motor locks are universal for left-open, right-open, inward, and outward doors. No need to distinguish direction, it would be much more convenient for people to use it on doors.
2. Compared with other electric locks, such as electric rim locks and magnetic locks, electric intelligence motor locks are less power consumption. Usually, the electric rim lock working current is 1.5A~3A, magnetic locks are powered on to lock, and the working current is 0.45A, but the electric intelligence motor lock is less than 0.5A, it will reduce the power consumption of the access control keypad and intercom system.
3.No collision when closing the door. Electric intelligence motor locks are automatically locked by a magnet sensor, so they are not like the electric rim locks which are locked by collision. It reduces the selection requirements of the door closer, solves the problem of collision and deformation of the door body caused by the excessive force of the door closer, and prolongs the service life of the door body.
4. Low noise. The locking mode of magnet induction makes the electric intelligence motor locks less noisy.
5. Long lifetime. The lifetime of an electric intelligence motor lock reaches 500,000 cycles. The inner structure is a metal design, and the use of a motor to drive the lock latch, thus the lock latch is hardly worn and torn.
6. Sound prompts – unlock prompts (if the door is not opened for a long time after unlocking) and lock-in-place prompts (such as the door cannot be locked if the latch is not closed).
7. Automatic detection of the lock latch status – if the door is not opened after unlocking, it will automatically re-lock after a delay of 15 seconds; after opening the door, if the lock latch is manually extended, it will automatically return to its position.
